Conor Baron

I'm Conor Baron, an Industrial Designer graduating in August 2025 from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

I aim to create experiences that invite people to explore, play, and rethink the way they engage with the world.

​

To me, design should be playful and engaging, because I believe that if you’re not having fun with the process, you’re missing the passion that makes it worthwhile.

​

That mindset has shaped the way I approach every project. Whether I’m designing educational STEM toys, speculative brand products, or a tension-based chair that challenges how we sit. I’m always chasing ideas that feel curious, interactive, and story-driven.

My work tends to live in that space between play and strategy, designing systems, experimenting with weird constraints, and creating objects that belong in someone’s world (even if they didn’t know they wanted them yet).

Outside of design, I get caught up in cooking, skateboarding, outdoor activities or getting way too into music I’m listening to.

I believe the best design doesn’t just look good, but it invites you in.
